Golden Paintworks’ two Metallic Texture Tint Bases are the foundation for creating our Pre-Tinted Metallic Texture colors, as well as custom tinting in the studio or jobsite. We recommend using small amounts of colorant, Slow Dry Fluid Acrylic colors or mixing in Metallic Paint colors to create your own palette. Both the Pearl Tint Base and the Gold Tint Base can be used on their own as a bright and lively pearl or a brilliant gold. Each color will produce a soft, metallic sparkle with varied sheens and movement across the finish. Traditionally applied by trowel, the final finish requires no burnishing or top coating, which adds to its popularity.
